We are approaching one of the highlights of our swim year:  The Jackson Meet

I sent an e-mail to all of those that have not signed in or out for the meet.  The deadline to do so is tomorrow, Thursday at 11 a.m.  Attached is the list of who signed in as of 4:23 p.m. today.

Warm-up: 9:30 a.m. (Jackson, Woodlands and Deer Park, smaller teams will be warming up before us). Start time remains at 10 a.m.

Info on staying to play after the meet:

"Our pool will be open to your families during the meet and following the meet. Picnic areas will be available if anyone would like to cook out or spend the day . Arm bands will be sold for $5 each ; 2 and under are free. This allows the swim team guests to swim and enjoy our pool during the meet and all day . This is a special discount for swim meet days only .

Please have your family allow time to pay fees when they enter the park, heat sheets will be available for $2.

CASH ONLY please and correct change is greatly appreciated. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED, NO SMOKING AROUND THE POOL AND NO ALCOHOL."

For those new to the team, most families bring a lunch.  (Many families cook burgers, etc. there at the park.  You'll also want to consider bringing a tent, chairs, sunscreen, money for snow cones or snack bar items.  There are bathrooms/changing rooms with showers at the pool).

Directions : I65 North to Exit 19 - HWY 43 exit Creola. Take HWY 43 to Jackson. After crossing the Tombigbee River , turn right onto HWY 177 ( 1st road on the right ). Follow HWY 177 for approx 3 miles. Turn right at the 1st red light. Turn left at the stop sign , then turn right onto Vanity Park Drive. Follow this road into the park.
