Hello Seahorses!

Our Jackson meet is set!  I hope you all will consider making the trek up to Jackson.

A little business before I give you the fun details.  If you will not be attending the meet in Jackson, please opt out of the meet.  Typically, meet entries are due the day before the meet before noon (I have them automatically set to close at 11a)...Jackson is a day earlier by request of the host coach who will be setting up the meet for several teams.  If you will be attending, please consider volunteering.  They request three timers for each half and help with clerk of course, both halves.  The heat sheet should be available to us before noon on Friday.  Our warm up will be promptly at 9:20...meet to start at 10:00.  If there are guppies that would like to swim, please come!!

Now for the fun details, from the coach at Jackson:

"Our pool will be open to your families during the meet and following the meet.  Picnic areas will be available if anyone would like to cook our or spend the day.  Arm bands will be sold for $5 each; 2 and under are free.  This allows the swim team guests to swim and enjoy our pool during the meet and all day.  This is a special discount for swim meet days only.  Please allow your family allow time to pay fees when they enter the park.  Also please have correct change ready.  We only accept cash.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED, NO SMOKING AROUND THE POOL AND NO ALCOHOL.

Directions: I-65 north to exit 19, Hwy 43 exit Creola.  Take Hwy 43 to Jackson.  After crossing the Tombigbee River, turn right onto Hwy 177 (1st road on the right).  Follow Hwy 177 for approximately 3 miles.  Turn right at the 1st red light.  Turn left at the stop sign, then turn right onto Vanity Park Drive.  Follow this road into the park."

You will want to bring your chairs and sunscreen!!  It will be a fun day and I REALLY hope you all will come.
