Hello Seahorse families!!

It is time for our end of the season banquet.  I hope all of you remember that our banquet is the Monday before City Meet and have saved the date.  I really should have put it on the calendar before now, but we were having trouble getting a place for our date.  The Civic Center will be our location again for this end of the season affair.  The doors will open at 5:30 and the banquet will start at 6:00.  Because of this time, we will be having chicken fingers and Lenny's sandwiches (ham, turkey, and roast beef), chips, drinks, and, of course, CAKE!  There is a change to this year's banquet and I wanted to tell you about it NOW.  Like other swim team programs, we will be charging $5 at the door per person.  In years past, we have brought items from each family and put them all on a table and had people serve.  The lines have been excruciating.  To make this easier, we will have chicken fingers and individually wrapped 7 1/2" Lenny's subs (labeled) for you to pick up off of the table and go to your seat as soon as you arrive.  There will be chips at your tables and drinks in coolers.  The cake serving might get a little backed up but I'm thinking each age group, after recognition can go pick up their cake and the lines can be kept at bay.

Dress for the evening will be Sunday clothes...no pool shirts...we want to see you in clothes we have never seen before! :) Every swimmer will be recognized and several will be given awards.  We look forward to seeing everyone and kicking off our City Meet theme of "Reach for the Stars!"
